A Simple Gospel

The Truth is very simple.
Therefore we read:
2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

1. Everyone has sinned (disobeyed and rebelled) against God ’s Law (The Bible).

(1 Corinthians 15:56 KJV)  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.


2. We need to have all of our sins totally forgiven if we are to escape eternal
 damnation (permanent death) and live forever with God .

(1 Corinthians 15:17 KJV)  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

(1 Corinthians 15:18 KJV)  Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.


3. There is only ONE WAY for this to be done and that’s through
the substitutionary death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus THE LORD.

(Acts 3:16 KJV)  And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

(Acts 4:12 KJV)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
 

4. What can we do to receive this forgiveness? Nothing! It’s up to
God if he will save you.

(Romans 9:15 KJV)  For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
 
(Romans 9:16 KJV)  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.

5. You should read the Bible (Preferably a King James version), repent
and ask (pray) the Lord God to have mercy on your soul. It may be that
He might save you if it is His will and good pleasure.


(Romans 11:22 KJV)  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
